CHARLOTTE authors works of historical fiction and political significance. She enjoys writing stories of ordinary people caught in watershed events. These events force characters to make decisions, and those decisions become pivotal turning points in their lives.

Currently, she is completing a novel about the U.S. Civil War. For research, she visited and researched six battlefield national parks and rural locales.

Charlotte holds a graduate degree in political science from the University of California at Berkeley, CA. In addition, she has attended numerous writer conferences.
